On the occasion of the invitation to the AHRU (ASSOCIATION OF HOTELS AND RESTAURANTS OF URUGUAY), to participate in the next edition of FIBEGA (FERIA IBEROAMERINANA DE GASTRONOMÍA) to be held in September in BS. AS – Capital of the Ibero-American Gastronomy of 2017 -, a luncheon of evaluation of the possible participation, in that event, in Restaurant Francis Carrasco was realized in the premises of “LA RURAL”, where AHRU Directors participated, authorities Municipalities of Colonia and Canelones operators of the sector.

It was a first exchange of ideas very enriching, and it was considered very positive the possibility of having a presence at the country level in said event. In the same one will be able to expose products of the country, along with tastings realized by chefs of the departments of the country.

Work will be continued and more authorities from different departments will be convened to evaluate the possible participation of more destinations in the country.

In the next few days a new meeting will be held, to continue advancing in the organization for this event.
